BankID is an e-ID provided by Swedish banks. All private individuals with a Swedish personal ID number and an approved Swedish ID document can obtain e-ID in the form of BankID through their bank. The age limit is determined by the banks themselves, but it is usually issued to people from the ages of 13 or 18. If the person is a minor, however, the guardian’s approval is required.
The Service implies that you can use BankID to identify yourself and receive/collect a delivery without having to present any personal photo ID. Instead, the QR code generated when signing with BankID is used when receiving/delivering parcels, and the code can also be shared with another designated person so that they can instead receive/collect a parcel on behalf of the user. The BankID signature combined with the QR code thus replaces the requirement to present a photo ID when receiving/collecting parcels from Bring’s pickup points in Sweden.
The Service is provided by Bring Parcels AB, corp. ID no. 556546-4939 (“Bring”).
Anyone who uses the Service is thus considered to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Where the terms and conditions below refer to “you”, this means the person who is using the Service.
1. Use of the Service
The Service implies that you can sign for the receipt of a delivery note using your BankID. Signing in this way is equivalent to the ID check normally performed in connection with a delivery.
Bring will then perform a name verification between the name of the recipient of the delivery and the name linked to the BankID being used. If these names match, Bring generates a QR code that is sent to you. If, however, the names do not match, no code is generated and the Service cannot be used.
2. Availability
The objective is that the Service should always be available, but Bring does not guarantee this. It may occur that the Service is unavailable for shorter or longer periods of time or that it exhibits reduced functionality, e.g. due to technical errors, upgrades, maintenance, changes or power cuts. In connection with planned measures, Bring will always try to give advance notice of this on Bring’s website. Bring always tries to address known faults as soon as is reasonably possible.
3. Bring’s liability
Bring shall not in any case be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the use of the Service or because the Service does not function as intended or is unavailable.
4. Your obligations and responsibilities
BankID, including your personal code for the use of it, is a document of value and must be treated as such. You are responsible for not allowing anyone else to use your BankID or your personal code.
You are also exclusively responsible for the QR code generated within the framework of the Service and how this is used and by whom.
5. Suspension
If there is any suspicion that the Service is being misused or if continued access to the Service by Bring is deemed to involve risks for Bring or other users, Bring has the right to suspend your access to the Service without prior notice.
6. Intellectual property rights
All rights to the Service belongs to Bring. Your rights to the Service are strictly limited to your right to use the Service in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. Personal data
Bring’s processing of personal data in connection with the Service is described here. Bring encourages you to read this as it contains, among other things, important information about how Bring processes personal data and your rights.
8. Amendments
Bring reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions for the Service by publishing them on Bring’s website. Significant amendments will be announced in advance on Bring’s website.
9. Transfer
Bring reserves the right to transfer its rights and obligations under these terms and conditions to another company in the Posten Norge Group. As a user of the Service, you cannot transfer your right to the Service to anyone else.
